Well, that wasn't bad at all... walked in to pay taxes and there was NO line; nada; amazing. First time for me, and I'm over 50!
Now time for Spanish class and standing in line to pay property taxes for automobiles!

I am very interested in this service from www.ping.fm which allows user to keep multiple social networks updated consistently through a single point of entry, including a nice iphone or smartphone friendly URL.

testing email publication

This is pretty cool if it works. I hope it does! I should be able to compose my thoughts and publish via email! Wonder if formatting works?

Sad News

After many years of virtually no communication from our once closest friends, Jonathan and Susan Clark, we received an email from Jonathan yesterday evening, in response to our Christmas/New Year letter which he had received yesterday, informing us of Susan’s massive cerebral hemorage on April 15, 2004. She is still alive, but is not the same person we knew, it seems. Phew! It knocks the wind out of us. I’ll have to think more on this. I emailed Jonathan back, asking him to put us on his email list and keep us informed as well as he can.

We've continued to have great fall weather all week. Priscilla is hosting her DIQs and directors at the fall retreat at the victorian B&B north of town. Today she had me bring Isaac and Paul to a training session held at the Lawrence Holidome. they did great! Isaac had a Q&A session with the women and Paul recited his poem/chant: Never Give Up! They were quite a hit.

I've sure enjoyed these boys. What a life I've been blessed with! Thank you so much, Jesus!

Well, it seems I can post to the journal using AIM and this bot. Interesting. I'll test it and see what happens.
This autumn has been one of the most beautiful fall seasons I've ever known. Despite the recent turmoil and international problems confronting the U.S. and may nations, I find that having this tranquil spot in the country to be uplifting and a boon to my spirit. Listening to the boys laugh and play in the woods, romping with their dogs, and conducting mock sword fights in these wonderful surroundings is something I never imagined I'd experience. Praise be to God, the giver of good gifts.
